Heritage Glow Candles
Our Heritage Glow candles bring warmth, simplicity, and old-world craftsmanship into your home. Each candle is poured in small batches using:
-
Forest-raised KuneKune lard
A traditional, sustainable wax prized for its long, clean burn and beautiful glow. -
Organic beeswax
Naturally brightens flame quality and purifies the air as it burns. -
Clean Scents™ by CandleScience
Fragrance oils that meet a Clean Plus standard—free from phthalates, parabens, carcinogens, and reproductive or hormone-disrupting chemicals.
We choose lard and beeswax because they are renewable, biodegradable, and richly rooted in heritage skills. Unlike commercial candles that rely on synthetic waxes or mystery blends, ours embrace simple ingredients you can feel good about.

🕯️ Candle Care Guide
First Light
On your first burn, allow the melt pool to reach the edges of the jar before extinguishing — this typically takes 2–3 hours. Lard wax has a soft memory; a full first melt pool prevents tunneling and maximizes your 28+ hour burn time.
Wick Trimming
Trim the wick to ¼ inch before every burn. A trimmed wick reduces soot, controls flame height, and extends the life of your candle. Trimming is especially important with lard-blend candles, as a long wick can cause excess flickering.
Safe Burn Practices
Always burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Keep away from drafts, flammable materials, children, and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Discontinue use when approximately ½ inch of wax remains to protect the glass jar from heat stress.
Maximum Continuous Burn Time
Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Allow the candle to cool for at least 2 hours before relighting. Extended burns can overheat the jar and degrade fragrance throw.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Lard wax can soften in warm conditions; keep the lid on between burns to protect the scent and surface.
Shelf Life
Best used within 12 months of purchase. Fragrance oils may fade over time; proper storage helps preserve scent quality. The wax itself remains stable well beyond this window.
